Dust and allergens just love to snuggle their way into those soft frayed pages and not let go.. You’d probably be nervous to use a big vacuum with a power head attachment to remove dust from your family’s precious heirlooms, but an easy to handle handheld vacuum, like the V6 Absolute converts into, makes it really easy to be super gentle and also super effective.

Not that this craft takes six years to make, it’s actually more of a 10 minute project, really, but I actually made this Easter topiary six years ago!And I’ve yet to share it with you.

Can you believe it?So today I’m making things right..I was going through my Easter stuff a few days ago and I realized that there weren’t many things in there that I really felt like pulling out this year.

This little topiary always makes the cut though. And, actually, it often stays out all year long because it’s just so cute and natural-looking..

If you’d like to make your own, all you need is a cheap bag of plastic eggs and a bag of craft moss.

You can usually find each of these at the dollar store and you’ll probably be able to make several topiaries with these supplies..Because all of these things seemed like a good idea at the time and worked for the family here at the time.

And there was a lot of time.So things like the wall paneling, multiple colors of peel n stick tile, and terrible paint colors, were all perfectly lovely at one time, I’m sure.. Here’s one spot where I’ve pulled up the peel n stick tile off the hardwood and then haven’t done anything about it since.

Even I’m contributing to the madness! Why did I do that?
